The modular structure of the CMS Tracker Endcap  (TEC) has been developed in Aachen. The carbon fiber support structure of both endcaps consists of 9 disks which are connected by an inner carbon fiber support cylinder (pink) and on the outer circumference by 8 carbon fiber rods (blue).

The left picture shows the assembled TEC+ support structure in the clean room in our workshop in September 2005. The right picture shows the photogrammetry measurement of the TEC- before it was transported in November 2005 from Aachen to CERN.

40 Points on the TEC structures have been measured by photogrammetry and have been compared with their nominal positions. The overall precision of the TEC+ (left picture) and the TEC- (right picture) support structures has been verified to be better that 0.1 mm.
