PEBS is a project in the Research & Development phase. The primary purpose of this experiment is a precision measurement of the positron and electron cosmic ray flux in the energy range from 1 to 2000 GeV. As a first prototype the PERDaiX Experiment will be launched from Kiruna, Sweden in October 2010.
